Tattoos are all the rage – well that’s what it seems like, so I gotta ask the question, do you think they’re hot or not?
There is no doubt that there are some amazing tattoos out there, and as an artist myself, I can’t help but admire the skill. Some of them are incredibly intricate and take hours, days even, to complete. But then there are the fails, and there is also the question, can you have too many?
Both of my adult sons are now inked and as a mother, I gotta say, I’m not a fan. I tried really hard to talk them out of it. It’s not that their tattoos are ugly, in fact they both have really great ones, it’s the fact that they are permanent and I can’t help thinking what they will look like in years to come. To have something indelibly marked on your skin is not a decision to be taken lightly.
As far as the hero in a book, though, I am partial to a little bit of ink. I know that makes me terribly hypocritical, but I can’t help it. I find a meaningful tattoo on a well muscled shoulder kinda hot, not that I will be sending my husband out to get one anytime soon 🙂
